Trade in the Closet by H. R. Kaye first published 1973, Paperback
p.90. "Now that Joey had given in to the desire he had harbored all his life, he discovered that he was a much better person. He no longer had to hide from others and, most important, from himself. He still did not like to think of himself as homosexual or any of the derogatory words he had used for others. He thought of himself only as being in love with Andy."
Confused, Joey lashes out -- attempting to hurt the very person he desires. But the more Joey fights, the more he drowns in his passions.
